What we need to quote accurately

You do not need all of this to start a conversation — but the more of it you have, the closer the first quote lands.

  • Product dimensions and weight each unit must carry
  • Whether it sits on a counter, a shelf or the floor
  • Number of tiers or facings, and the angle you want
  • Whether it needs lighting, rotation, or a locking stock area

Accepted file formats

2D drawings
DWG, DXF, PDF, or a dimensioned sketch
3D models
STEP, STP, IGES — or a mesh (STL, OBJ) for reference

In-house capability

How these are manufactured

Kept in-house rather than subcontracted, because outsourcing a finishing step is where tolerance and lead time usually get lost.

CNC routing & cutting

Flat-bed routing for complex profiles, recesses and tight-tolerance parts at production volume.

  • Up to 20 mm cast acrylic
  • Profile tolerance ±0.2 mm
  • Nesting optimisation for yield

Laser cutting & engraving

Clean polished edges and fine detail work — logos, graduated scales, serial numbers.

  • Up to 25 mm on selected grades
  • Polished flame edge
  • Deep engraving and inlay

Diamond polishing & flame polishing

Optical-clarity edges with no visible tooling marks — the finish buyers judge first.

  • Optical clarity on 90° edges
  • Hand-finishing for curved profiles
  • Consistent batch-to-batch

Thermoforming & bending

Heat-line bending, drape forming and vacuum forming for curves, radii and enclosures.

  • Line bending up to 3 m
  • Custom radii from drawing
  • Drape-formed covers and domes

Bonding & assembly

Solvent and UV bonding with jig-controlled alignment, plus hardware insertion and lighting integration.

  • Bubble-free solvent joints
  • UV-bonded structural joints
  • LED and hardware integration

Printing & surface finishing

Screen printing, UV digital printing, frosting, mirror and anti-scratch coatings for brand-accurate displays.

  • Pantone-matched screen print
  • Frosted and satin finishes
  • Anti-scratch hard coating

Technical questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly — you'll get a real answer from the person who would run your job.

Ask a question

How thick should the acrylic be?

As a rule: 3 mm for small cosmetic and jewellery fitments, 5 mm for countertop stands holding light product, 8–10 mm for shelving and larger freestanding units, and 15–20 mm where the unit is structural or needs to read as substantial. Span matters more than load — an unsupported 600 mm shelf needs bracing or thicker material regardless of what it holds.

Can you produce a display that assembles flat for shipping?

Yes, and for volume retail rollouts it is usually the right answer. Knock-down designs with solvent-welded or mechanically fixed joints cut freight volume dramatically. The trade-off is assembly time in store, so we weigh that against your installation process before recommending it.

Can the unit be branded?

Screen printing is the most durable and colour-accurate option for logos and repeated graphics. UV digital printing suits short runs and full-colour artwork. Laser engraving gives a permanent, subtle mark that will not wear off, and is often used for serial numbers and subtle branding on blocks and awards.

Will acrylic yellow or craze over time?

Quality cast acrylic with UV stabilisation holds clarity for many years indoors. Crazing is almost always caused by stress from over-tight fixings or by contact with solvents, not by the material itself — which is why we design joints and mounting points to avoid built-in stress.
