What makes this category different

Design problems we solve in fashion

These are the constraints buyers in this category raise with us most often — and the reasoning behind how we answer them.

Handled constantly, dropped occasionally

Eyewear and accessory fixtures take sustained contact. Impact-modified material for the parts customers touch, cast acrylic for the parts they only look at, keeps the unit premium and intact.

Ranges change seasonally

Adjustable nose-bridge rests and re-positionable shelf pitches let one fixture present successive frame shapes. Worth the modest extra tooling if your range turns over twice a year.

Frames scratch each other

Contact between frames marks lenses. Insert geometry and spacing are designed so frames touch the fixture, never each other — which usually means fewer facings per shelf, at a better presentation standard.

The fixture carries the brand

In fashion retail the display is brand furniture. Colour matching to seasonal palettes, logo execution and finish consistency across a fleet matter as much as the engineering.

Fashion questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly — you'll get a real answer from the person who would run your job.

Ask a question

Can displays survive heavy daily handling?

Use impact-modified acrylic or polycarbonate for the parts customers touch, and keep optical-clear cast acrylic for the parts they only look at. That combination keeps the unit looking premium while surviving a shop floor.

Can you make adjustable eyewear fixtures?

Yes. Adjustable nose-bridge rests and re-positionable shelf pitches let one fixture present different frame shapes. It is usually worth the modest extra tooling cost if your range changes seasonally.

How do you stop units scratching in transit and use?

Units ship with protective film, and we can apply a hard anti-scratch coating to surfaces that see frequent contact. Telling us where the unit will be touched lets us specify coating only where it is needed instead of across the whole unit.
