Cutting, forming, polishing, bonding, printing and hardware integration all happen in our own facility. That is not a marketing point — it is why tolerances hold and lead times do not slip when a subcontractor gets busy.

CNC routing & cutting

Flat-bed routing for complex profiles, recesses and tight-tolerance parts at production volume.

Materials

Grades we work in

Material choice is usually the single biggest driver of both cost and how the finished unit looks. These are the ones we keep in stock.

Finishing

The finish is what buyers judge first

Two units with identical geometry can look like different products depending on edge and surface treatment.

Diamond polished edge

Flame-free mechanical polish producing a flat, optically clear edge on 90° profiles. The benchmark finish for premium display work.

Flame polished edge

Heat-polished to a glossy, slightly rounded edge. Faster and cheaper than diamond polishing; excellent on curved profiles and where a softer edge look is wanted.

Machine / raw cut edge

Visible tooling marks. Perfectly appropriate on hidden internal faces and where the edge is never seen — specifying it where it does not show keeps cost sensible.

Mitred edge

A 45° jointed edge that hides the bond line and gives box corners a continuous look. The mark of a properly made acrylic case.

Clear surface

Standard high-clarity finish. The default for most display and packaging work.

Frosted / satin surface

Diffused, non-reflective surface. Used to spread LED light evenly, to create visual separation between tiers, and to reduce glare on lit units.

Opal / diffused surface

Translucent white sheet that transmits light while obscuring the source. Common on backlit signage and light-box faces.

Mirrored surface

Reflective acrylic that avoids the weight and breakage risk of glass mirror. Often used as a base or back panel to make a display read as larger.

Anti-scratch hard coating

Applied to surfaces that see repeated contact. Worth specifying selectively — coating the whole unit costs more than coating the parts that get touched.

Quality control

Three checkpoints, documented

Inspection records travel with the shipment. You should not have to ask for evidence that your order was checked.

    Incoming material inspection

    Sheet grade, thickness and optical quality verified against the specification before anything is cut. Material faults found here cost nothing; found later, they cost a production run.

  2. 02

    In-process dimensional check

    Critical dimensions measured against your drawing during cutting and forming, so a drift is caught on part twenty rather than part two thousand.

  3. 03

    Pre-shipment inspection

    Dimensions, edge and surface finish, hardware function, lighting, and appearance — with photographs and the inspection record issued with the packing list.

What tolerances can you hold?

Our standard cutting tolerance is ±0.2 mm on CNC-routed profiles, tightening on specific features when a drawing calls for it. Acrylic moves with temperature and humidity, so we will flag any tolerance that will not hold in service — even if it can be machined — before you commit to it.

Which acrylic grades do you work with?

Cast and extruded acrylic in clear, opal, coloured, frosted, mirrored and anti-reflective grades, plus impact-modified sheet for high-traffic retail and PETG where chemical resistance or toughness matters more than optical clarity. Cast acrylic machines and polishes better; extruded is more economical for simple flat work.

How do you achieve a clear edge?

Diamond polishing for a flat, optically clear edge, and flame polishing where a rounded or glossier profile suits the design. Both are done by hand on complex geometry, which is why edge finish is one of the last things to be automated away — and one of the first things a buyer notices.

Can you integrate lighting, locks or hardware?

Yes. We routinely integrate edge-lit and backlit LED assemblies, concealed cable routing, cam locks and keyed locks, hinges, magnetic catches, and metal standoffs or brackets. Send the hardware specification or let us propose one.

How do you control quality?

Three checkpoints: incoming material inspection against the sheet specification, in-process dimensional checks against the drawing, and a pre-shipment inspection covering dimensions, finish, hardware function and appearance. Photographs and the inspection record accompany each shipment.

How are displays packed for export?

Units are wrapped in protective film, corner-protected, and packed in foam-lined double-wall cartons, with custom timber crating for large or fragile assemblies. Packing is tested against the transit mode you choose, because sea freight and air freight stress a carton very differently.
